Our Story
Ragis Coffee was born in the heart of Nyeri, Kenya a region world-renowned for its fertile volcanic soils and high-altitude climate, perfect for producing exceptional coffee. What began as a small family passion has grown into a trusted exporter and supplier, connecting Kenyan farmers with coffee lovers across the globe.
Behind every bean is a story of dedication. We work directly with smallholder farmers, ensuring fair practices, sustainable farming, and the highest quality beans. From handpicking ripe cherries to carefully processing and grading, every step reflects Kenya’s proud coffee heritage.
But our vision goes beyond Kenya’s borders. We also help customers import other coffee varieties from neighboring countries, such as Robusta, giving them access to diverse blends and flavor profiles. Whether you’re seeking green beans for roasting or ready-to-brew roasted coffee, Ragis Coffee delivers to any part of the world.
Today, Ragis Coffee stands for more than just a beverage we stand for culture, tradition, and excellence in every cup.

Exporting With Ragis Coffee
Coffee beans exporting at Ragis Coffee follows the simplest, safest and fastest procedure to ensure the customers get the best experience in business.
Sharing Samples
At Ragis Coffee Limited, we believe trust begins with taste. For every export inquiry, we provide authentic coffee bean samples through our reliable international courier partners. Once you receive the samples, you can evaluate the aroma, quality, and grade. Only after you’re fully satisfied do we proceed to confirm your Purchase Order (PO).
Lead Time
We value both speed and precision. Upon receipt of a Purchase Order and payment, our standard lead time is 15–21 days. Every bag is carefully checked by our Quality Control team to ensure accuracy in weight, grade, and consistency — because our customers deserve exactly what they pay for.
Export Packaging
Our premium Kenyan Arabica coffee is exported in 60kg jute bags, the traditional packaging that allows beans to breathe during transit. Each 20ft container carries around 320 bags, ensuring compliance with axle load limits while maintaining freshness. Since green beans remain “alive” with natural moisture, breathable jute prevents condensation and preserves quality during long shipments.
Local Transport to Port
Once ready, the coffee is securely loaded into containers at our facility and transported to Port of Mombasa using multi-axle trucks and trailers equipped with tracking systems. The journey typically takes 12–24 hours, ensuring timely delivery and full cargo security.
Documentation
We handle all necessary export documentation in line with the importing country’s requirements. This includes:
- International Coffee Certificate
- Phytosanitary Certificate
- Certificate of Conformity (CoC)
- Commercial Invoice & Packing List
- Original Bill of Lading
